I showed that mean manx who was boss, I did!

Last night there was this orange manx and he was very mean and he was outside and just sitting there so I showed him who is boss, that it is me, Oscar, yes.

I hissed and growled and made a big fuss, and I made him so scared that he will never be coming back here, no, never.

After a while my person had to calm me and so I changed my blog to the soothing candles, yes.

I scared that mean manx away, I did. He knows not to come here because he is so scared of me. Yes. I am scary.

New pics of me soon.

Mommy took some pics of me sleeping today and I need to post them soon, yes. I was sleeping because blogging takes a lot out of me. I know I haven't blogged in a while but I am still here.

Here is me sleeping on the couch, yes.

Here is me behind the blanket on my chubby chair. I like it, yes. I do it even when it is very hot out because I like to. Don't forget about me, Oscar. I am still here, yes, and I run the show.

New Blog, New Ambition.

Hi. This is Oscar and I am a Literary Cat from now on. I am going to read and write books if I can. I like to plop on books so that is a start. I will write a thick book soon so that way I can plop on it and stretch my paws on the sides of it. I like to do that, yes.

I also like to plop on my person's yoga mat while she is doing yoga, yes I do.

Guest Cat.

A friend sent me these photos he took of his sister's cat. I think they are so cute! =^.^= While Oscar will not be pleased, I've decided to open a section on Oscar's Blog for guest cats. He's not been posting much, after all. Blogging takes a lot outta him. Just look at that fuzzy widdle face!

Oscar is not a "man's cat."

In a recent post I, Oscar's mom, did about manly men, I tried thinking which of my cats are "manly cats."

Unfortunately, Oscar, the star of this blog, is not a "man's cat." For one thing, he's too temperamental, he whines too much, and he's a bit of a diva/drama queen. Just look at him. Does that look manly to you?

Thor is not a manly cat because he's too much of a pretty boy.

Even though we call him the "Pitten" because he is so handsome that he is the Brad Pitt of cats, he's probably more like the Jude Law of cats, but Pitten sounds better. Either way, he's handsome, knows it, and if he were a person would likely be some yuppie working some white collar job after having majored in something useless at a university.

And Shadow? Forget it. He's a hairdresser and humps our other male cats. Enough said.

The only one who qualifies as a "man's cat" would be Apollo. Why? Because he got herpes in the eyes and kicked its ass. He didn't peep or whine once. Ok, so that's not true, but he's not a drama queen, when he runs into the wall due to his blindness, he just shakes his head and runs on, as any real man's cat should. He's no pussy, after all!

Apollo: he's one badass Bub! That's why he is called Da Bub!

I am out on my patio. Out on my chair.

Hi peeps. What up? My peep took this webcam shot of me sittin' here chillin' on my chair here out on the patio. It is my patio, yes.

I was happy last night because my peep let me stay out late last night and I got to enjoy the wind and sounds of the bugs, yes.

Well, I'm gettin' pretty hungry so I'd best be headin' back to my crib. Just wanted to give a shout out to all my pets out there. Oscar is here and he ain't leavin' no how. Yes. I am Oscar. That is me.
